Bilateral Programme Budget in Tajikistan
Each year the Embassy receives an allocation of funds from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to spend on projects in Tajikistan that will support bilateral links between Tajikistan and the UK and help achieve the FCO's Departmental Strategic Objectives.

Reports that British Embassy staff in Iran may face trial

Following news that remarks by Ayatollah Jannati suggest some of our local staff in Iran may face trial, Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, stressed that 'we are urgently seeking clarification from the appropriate Iranian authorities'.
